General registration for the 2008 Towards Carfree Cities Conference is open January 15th 2008 through the duration of the conference. Earlybird registration ends February 29th. Registration is required for all those who wish to attend the conference. Registration fees do not include travel or stay expenses, but do include two meals a day for three days (June 17-19) and all conference program elements, activities, and parties.
We are committed to making this conference as inclusive as possible. If you are unable to attend for the entire week, please consider participating in our free events, such as Public Day on June 17th which features our keynote speakers, programs on Carfree Family Living and Portland’s Freeway History. Public Day is free and open to the entire community — please register at the bottom link on this page).
We are also hosting a depaving day, a movie night and a square dance in the street, all of which are open to the community — see our program for more information.
