If you’ll be in town for Towards Carfree Cities, chances are you’ve heard that Portland is the best biking city in the USA. You could take this for granted…or you could get on a bike and see for yourself. Check out our Getting Around Portland guide for tips on renting, borrowing, and riding a bicycle around Portland.

With a bike, Portland is yours to enjoy. You can get around town speedily, ride in some of our mobile workshops, and take a break from sessions to check out some of the many and varied Pedalpalooza events. If you’re in town the weekend before the conference, head to Cirque du Cycling or help set a record at the World Naked Bike Ride. After the conference, you can use a bike to enjoy Sunday Parkways or the Multnomah County Bike Fair.
